Central
Dallas Ministries strives to be a good
steward of its
investments.
We use the term "investment"
because we realize that our donors are not interested in simple
charity: they want a return on their donation. They
want a stronger community, a more supportive city and a just, equitable
society for all. They realize that market forces may not bring that
about, and so they have decided to support an organization that can
help them to achieve their goals.

At heart, they are investing in social change. We,
as stewards of their funds, are obligated to spend their money in ways
that will most effectively bring about that change, and to report the
return on our donors' investments. For that reason, we support the Donor
Bill of Rights (see below).
